Project Leadership Role

The Opportunity
Premier Crane and Rigging Company is seeking a motivated individual to step into the role of Project Manager/Engineer. This position involves ensuring projects are successfully delivered in accordance with the company's standards and client requirements.

We service clients across various industries, including airports, roads, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, power, and more. The successful candidate will be involved in heavy lift solutions on key Victorian infrastructure projects, works on complex projects involving superstructures, and multi-crane lifts.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery, ensuring project milestones are achieved within scope.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration to coordinate project delivery.
  • Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Provide feedback to motivate team members and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations to deliver successful project outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to read structural drawings and experience with structural elements of construction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in managing projects through the full life cycle according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills.
