Job Overview:

Compensation Professional

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Professional to develop, implement, and administer compensation programs. This role involves analyzing job descriptions to determine appropriate salary levels based on industry standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and internal data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Analyze job requirements to determine relevant salary levels based on industry benchmarks and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders on compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, and annual reviews.
  • Support the development of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Participate in compensation-related projects such as salary audits, equity reviews, and pay transparency initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation reports and dashboards to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
