
Florida Workers Compensation Claim Specialist

This position involves managing workers' compensation claims in accordance with state laws and regulations.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations to evaluate claims accuracy and compliance with state requirements.
- Manage complex claim litigation, collaborating with legal experts as needed.
- Determine and maintain adequate reserves for each claim.
- Evaluate medical, legal, and damage estimates to ensure optimal claim resolution.
- Negotiate settlements based on client-specific handling instructions and applicable laws.
- Coordinate subrogation claims and notify excess carriers as required.
- 5-10 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims.
- Proven ability to manage litigated claims within the state.
- Active Florida Adjuster's License (Essential).
- AIC, ARM, or CPCU designation a plus. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
