This is a leadership position in the Built Environment discipline at an educational institution. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth teaching, learning, and student engagement.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise teaching teams, including casual and ongoing academic staff.
- Provide leadership in course and unit development, working closely with program managers and academic committees.
- Ensure teaching materials, resources, and unit content remain current and aligned with institutional requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, using student feedback, performance data, and academic reviews to enhance the program experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline area.
- Five years of teaching experience within a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of innovative approaches to learning and teaching.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
