Job Description

The Assistant Climate Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Climate Manager to maintain a structured learning environment for students and staff. This position is responsible for assisting in managing the school's climate, culture, and behavior programs, collecting and analyzing student discipline and behavior data, and communicating with parents and students. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, positive attitude, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the school's climate, culture, and behavior programs
  • Collect and analyze student discipline and behavior data
  • Communicate with parents and students
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance on a daily basis
Requirements
  • At least two years of school experience required, preferably in school climate and culture
  • Commitment to urban education and high academic standards
  • Strong technology skills and time management skills
Working Conditions

This position involves very high levels of social interaction, including daily communication with children, parents, and teachers. It also requires being placed in conflict situations where individuals may become angry or unpleasant.

Physical Requirements

The job involves sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, operating a computer, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.
