**Job Title:** Explosives Specialist
We are seeking experienced professionals to fill a key role at our Central Queensland operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient use, storage, preparation and set up of explosive charging equipment in line with regulatory requirements and underground works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with mining regulations and industry standards.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Preparing and setting up explosive charging equipment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience operating as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hand.
- Demonstrated underground Mining experience.
- Current Qld Shotfirers Licence & Dangerous Goods Card or ability to meet requirements and gain.
- Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
- Self-motivated and have a team orientated approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
