Job Title: Explosives Specialist - Underground Operations

Central Queensland is seeking experienced professionals to work in underground explosive operations.

As an Explosives Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient use, storage, preparation, and setup of explosive charging equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as an underground explosives specialist
  • Ensure compliance with mine safety regulations
  • Work safely and efficiently in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Requirements:

  • Current QLD shotfirers licence & dangerous goods card or ability to meet requirements and obtain
  • Underground mining experience
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and team-oriented approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills

A family-friendly 8/6, 7/7 roster on a residential, DIDO, or FIFO basis.
