Role Overview

Arista Networks seeks a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with industry experts and technical leaders to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in L2/L3 networking design and implementation, with experience in campus, security, and Wi-Fi solutions. They will also have excellent communication and technical presentation skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality demos and case studies.

  • Develop and maintain long-term partner relationships.
  • Understand partner requirements and determine the best solutions to meet those needs.
  • Present case studies and demonstrate the value proposition of Arista's portfolio of products.
  • Work with Channel Development Managers to help prospective partners determine the best technology solutions to meet their customers' business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical presentations and demos.
  • Contribute to prospective partner requests for proposals to sell Arista's portfolio of products.
  • Make product recommendations and educate potential partners on how Arista's technology will provide business and technical value to their customers.

Qualifications

  • BS/CS/CE technical degree preferred
  • Network Industry Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer
  • Ability to deliver technical presentations and demos
  • Strong knowledge in Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, QoS
  • Good understanding of the competitor technology landscape - Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet
  • Expert-level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
  • Familiarity with building network automation (Python and/or Ansible)
