Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our social media strategy and implementation for the realestate.com.au brand.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Content & Growth and Audience & Marketing teams to deliver engaging always-on and campaign-based social activity, including briefing and developing bespoke social content, reporting on key performance metrics, and recommending optimisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to drive engagement and increase brand awareness.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content that resonates with the realestate.com.au audience, including posts, images, videos, and stories in alignment with brand guidelines and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics and trends to track performance, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the Social Media Assistant to review and moderate all comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, design, and customer operations, to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
  • Deliver monthly reporting of social media activity to key stakeholders.
  • Manage two team members.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' marketing experience, specialising in social media across various channels.
  • Experience working with in-house and external agencies to deliver on innovative social content.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform channel and creative strategy.
  • Strong resource management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, or similar.
  • Highly proficient across all prominent social media platforms.
  • Experience with marketing technology, such as Adobe and GA, is preferred.
