Sales Leader for ANZ Mass Spectrometry

Position Overview: As the Sales Leader for the ANZ region within the Mass Spectrometry division, you will oversee a dedicated team of technical sales professionals. This team collaborates with clients in the Life Science Mass Spectrometry (LSMS) and Inorganic Mass Spectrometry (IOMS) sectors, offering a portfolio of industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the strategic vision for the ANZ region, guiding a sales team that includes product specialists and business development experts to achieve sales objectives and foster business growth.
  • Enhance commercial effectiveness by ensuring the team develops and maintains a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet or surpass sales targets.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients throughout the region, conducting regular sales engagements, and adopting a strategic partnership approach.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about competitor activities and emerging products/services, integrating this knowledge into the business strategy and introducing new offerings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to develop a comprehensive product and marketing strategy that leverages market opportunities for superior business performance.
  • Provide application support to improve customer experiences with our platforms and solutions.
  • Proactively create initiatives to stimulate growth regardless of economic conditions.
  • Maintain precise reporting and documentation essential for effective regional management.
  • Guide and mentor team members, establishing career development plans and succession strategies.
  • Consistently represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively during all customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of complex instrumentation solutions.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Experience with LSMS and HPLC is advantageous.
