About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned commercial leader to spearhead the strategic growth of our Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region.

As the ANZ Commercial Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing commercial strategies to increase customer value and market share in ANZ.

You will actively contribute to shaping and implementing comprehensive country-wide strategies to enable Thermo Fisher's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement commercial strategies to increase customer value and market share in ANZ.
  • Actively contribute to shaping and implementing comprehensive country-wide strategies to enable Thermo Fisher's overall success.
  • Uncover and seize growth opportunities, including emerging technologies, new market segments, and new product launches.
  • Forge and maintain top-tier customer relationships with a hands-on approach, representing AIG in senior-level negotiations.
  • Effectively partner across Divisions and Functions, locally, regionally, and globally to drive growth across AIG and the broader business.
Requirements

To succeed in this pivotal role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in commercial sales or marketing management in the life sciences/scientific industry.
  • Strategic Acumen: Proven track record in developing and implementing short- and long-term commercial strategies to realize full market potential.
  • Leadership: Senior management experience with deep understanding of ANZ market dynamics.
  • Team Development: Experience in leading and developing impactful teams.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive and manage organizational change for sustained high performance.
  • Financial Expertise: Proven skill in financial analysis and planning.
