Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Team Leader to become part of our Global Logistics division at a key operational site. This pivotal role is focused on managing the inventory for a major client, which represents the majority of our warehouse activities.

This is a permanent position with afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure compliance with customer standards.
  • Analyze inventory data and prepare detailed reports with actionable insights for management.
  • Perform routine site inspections, documenting any inconsistencies, and leading thorough investigations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory records in accordance with established performance indicators.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to rectify identified inventory issues.
  • Manage inventory counting schedules to align with customer service agreements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to address and resolve inventory-related challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Strong customer service focus and proficient time management capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail complemented by robust analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience in a third-party logistics environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution or Transport & Logistics.
