Stockroom Manager Job Description

Sephora is seeking a skilled Stockroom Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Stockroom Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our stockroom operations, including inventory control, stockroom organization, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive scheduled cycle counts to identify and adjust stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and minimizing stockouts.
  • Utilize data and reports to support operational duties, reducing shrinkage loss and improving stockroom efficiency.
  • Monitor and investigate negative stock levels, collaborating with the store team to resolve issues and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mentality, working with the Senior Management team, Supply Chain, and Planning team to achieve business and operational results.
  • Serve as the point of contact for distribution and organization of stock levels, making informed decisions to optimize stock management.
  • Train and educate the wider team on shrinkage and back-of-house policies and procedures.
  • Process and replenish stock, manage returns, and liaise with external stakeholders for stock pick-up.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail stock management experience, with a focus on cycle counts, product launches, visual merchandising, people management, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and SAP (desirable).
  • Able to work a 38hr rotating roster to support store needs.
  • A suitable level of physical fitness, as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg.
  • A drive for results, with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Passionate about excellent client service and experiential retail, with a focus on tracking stock levels to ensure the store represents the Sephora brand.
