Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled commercial lawyer with experience in IT law to join our team. You will be responsible for advising clients on software and SaaS agreements, regulatory compliance, M&A transactions, e-commerce, and off-shore outsourcing.

You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships with clients and providing them with expert advice. Your excellent drafting, advisory, and negotiation skills will be utilized to ensure that client needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on privacy, data protection, and cyber security matters
  • Negotiating and drafting software and SaaS agreements
  • Providing regulatory compliance advice to IT companies
  • Assisting with M&A transactions for clients in the IT industry
  • Advising on e-commerce and off-shore outsourcing issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3-10 years' experience in commercial law, preferably with some experience in IT law
  • Strong drafting, advisory, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think outside the square
  • Ability to work in a committed and high-performing team
