Liquidity Analyst

This is a permanent full-time role with flexible work options, where our team members come first. We offer a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our Melbourne office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the team in measuring, analysing and reporting on the Bank's liquidity position and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.
  • Be involved in all aspects of developing and enhancing the Bank's quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise its benefits across the Bank.
  • Data Analysis - Liquidity data mining and analysis
  • Support other team functions including system architecture and design, data within systems and data extraction and utilisation
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Actuarial Science are preferred &/or 2-3 years of relevant banking experience.
  • Proficiency in coding, with R and/or SQL being advantageous.
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in a wide variety of Excel functions, building complex formulas and the use of multi-sheet and multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of APS 210 Liquidity is highly regarded.
  • Quantitative analytical capability is highly regarded.
  • Previous Treasury experience, especially in Liquidity Risk, is highly regarded.
