**Job Title:** Field Technician Specialist


We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Field Technician Specialist, a critical position in delivering top-notch telecommunications services. This job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.


As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to activate and assure telecommunications and technology products and services at customer premises. You will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve optimal customer and commercial outcomes. Multiple positions are available across the country; candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified areas.


About the Role:
The Field Technician Specialist plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end installation of telecommunications networks. This position involves:


  • Installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment and networks.
  • Fault finding and repairing copper cables, including jointing and jumpering.
  • Managing fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services.
  • Maintaining and installing customer premises equipment for both consumer and business clients.
  • Performing fault finding over copper networks in rural or remote settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must hold and maintain relevant licenses and qualifications, including:


  • A current driver's license.
  • Certificate I/II in Telecommunications.
  • Open cabling license.
  • Traffic management qualifications.
  • Industry white card.
