Job Title: Field Technician - Computer Repair Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Technician to provide on-site technical support for computer-related issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to explain technical issues in plain English, and have a proactive attitude.

About the Role:

  • Provide on-site technical support for PCs, Macs, iOS, Android, and other devices.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, including server problems and hardware replacements.
  • Configure RAID systems and troubleshoot networking cables.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Build rapport with customers and maximize their satisfaction.
  • Provide follow-up support to customers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Working rights in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in tech support or a related field.
  • Knowledge of PC and laptop troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience with server configuration and management.
