**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials, goods, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the purchase of materials, goods, and services using our procurement and financial systems.
  • Ensure all acquisitions are suitable and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Manage stock levels, maintain supplier and contractor registers, and contribute to the preparation of contract documentation.
  • Monitor costs, support efficient resource utilisation, and assist with reporting and audit activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have a Certificate in Business Administration or related discipline, or a minimum of three years' experience facilitating procurement and purchasing functions within Local or State Government, Water or Construction industry.

They must also have comprehensive knowledge of Local and/or State Government contracts for the procurement of materials, demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and the ability to network effectively with key stakeholders.
