Role Overview

Clinical Psychologists play a vital role in supporting organisations to achieve optimal functioning. They contribute significantly to employee satisfaction, productivity, safety, and well-being.

  • Develop and implement psychology interventions to support high-functioning teams and individuals across the district.
  • Lead the development of targeted validated measures, including job analysis, recruitment, selection, worker motivation, work performance, health and well-being, and career development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and appropriate care, ensuring access to services for consumers and families.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, or Doctorate/PhD providing eligibility for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society).
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice as a psychologist, with endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology.
  • Demonstrated understanding of psychological theory, behavioural factors in organisational effectiveness, and employee satisfaction, productivity, safety, and well-being.
