General Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our Northern Territory operations. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving financial performance, and ensuring the company's commitment to safety and risk management is upheld.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Northern Territory operations, including marine and bus operations, sales and marketing, fleet maintenance, and people leadership
- Manage the performance of the business, building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve financial performance
- Ensure the company's commitment to safety and risk management is upheld
- Represent the company in the media and deal with crisis situations
- Commercially astute with extensive leadership experience
- Proven track record in negotiating and managing partnership agreements
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and rapport with others
- Experience in managing a commercial business, with strong financial management skills
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in strategic planning and business plan implementation
- Sound knowledge of the political processes that may impact the business
- Experience in dealing with the media and crisis management
- Previous knowledge and experience in managing a business with a strong focus on safety and risk
