We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at MedCentral GP Clinic in Casuarina, Darwin. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
About the Role- Provide adult and childhood immunisations
- Assist with care plans and support nursing students
- Support doctors in caring for patients in the treatment room and assisting in emergencies
- Assist doctors in procedures, such as biopsies and other procedures
- Provide assistance to reception staff as required

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 1 year experience in general practice or primary health care setting, graduates considered
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest in community-based nursing, including patient education and health promotion
- Knowledge of current immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, infection control, CPR, and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment, drugs, and care plans
- Current Police History Check, NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), and Current CPR and Immunisation Certificate
