About the RoleThis dynamic opportunity involves providing high-level administrative support to a senior academic, facilitating research activities and coordinating stakeholder communications. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, arrange travel, and assist with grant applications, publications, and presentations.
- Coordinate research activities, supporting day-to-day operations of multiple research teams and facilitating international collaborations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Liaise with The Royal Women's Hospital, supporting Professor Hickey in her role as Head of the Menopause Services Unit.
- Assist with HR and Finance tasks, supporting administrative processes across both university and hospital systems.
Requirements
- You are a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in executive administrative support, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
- You may have experience in a complex, service-oriented research or clinical setting.
- You possess advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, such as AI.
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- You have experience in preparing reports, creating figures in programs such as Canva, and managing committee documentation.
- You are adaptable and innovative, with the ability to use new technologies to improve work efficiency.
