Delivering Justice in the Community
As a Registrar in the Children's Court, you will play a vital role in ensuring young people in custody are brought before a magistrate as soon as practicable. The Weekend Online Remand Court operates on Saturday/Sunday and public holidays, requiring a dynamic and progressive individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will work closely with the Registry Manager to list and manage cases heard on the weekend and public holidays, while also assisting with onsite, day-to-day operations of the Melbourne Children's Court from Monday to Wednesday.
