The Group Tax Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing ASC's global tax outcomes within the parameters of the Tax Risk Management and Governance Framework.
- This position involves planning and managing taxation compliance activities across Australia and international jurisdictions to ensure seamless execution.
The ideal candidate will oversee various key responsibilities, including:
- Providing timely and accurate advice on corporate transactions, functions, policies, and compliance to support informed decision-making.
- Reviewing major contracts for tax consequences with a focus on risk mitigation to safeguard the organization's interests.
- Leading the implementation and oversight of ASC's Tax Risk Management and Governance Framework to foster a culture of compliance and transparency.
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
- A highly capable taxation professional with strong expertise in corporate tax and the ability to manage complex compliance and advisory matters.
- Significant experience in corporate tax roles with strong working knowledge of Australian taxation law.
