Senior Global Mobility Tax Specialist

Global mobility tax professionals play a crucial role in assisting organisations with their tax obligations related to employee movement across international borders. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the tax and social security implications of employee employment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance on workforce tax planning initiatives to optimise tax outcomes for clients and employees.
- Managing global mobility programs, addressing tax equalisation, protection, and planning.
- Handling tax audits and disputes, resolving issues efficiently.
- Monitoring risk of creating permanent establishments in various jurisdictions.
You will also be responsible for coordinating global client services, liaising with foreign offices, and ensuring consistent high-quality service across all locations. Additionally, you will manage client projects, provide training and guidance on global workforce tax matters, and build strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax, preferably with a focus on individual tax compliance and consulting.
- Prior experience with Australian global mobility tax issues and/or international tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
