Senior Policy Analyst Role

The Victorian Parliamentary Budget Office is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to support members of parliament in informing policy development and debate.

  • Policy evaluation: Assessing the impact of policies

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and the manager of policy analysis and advice, driving key aspects of our client work. Your expertise should cover:

  • Policy assessment
  • Economic modelling
  • Government budget analysis
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Research (qualitative, economic, social, or policy)

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian/New Zealand citizen
  • No Voluntary Departure Package from the VPS preventing employment in the Victorian Public Sector
