Business Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to contribute to our research and report writing team. As a key member of our team, you will develop analytical and economic skills in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality industry reports within specified deadlines and according to our editorial standards
  • Analyse macroeconomic, demographic, and industry-specific data to identify key business trends
  • Conduct qualitative research and stay up-to-date with key economic and industry trends
  • Deliver presentations and improve public speaking skills
  • Contribute to product development initiatives
  • Pose as a subject matter expert in interviews with journalists
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Research Team Leaders or Head of Research
About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, business, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to analyse and forecast economic data, demonstrated through previous work experience or university studies
  • Familiarity with online research techniques
  • Solid understanding of economics, financial terms, and business concepts
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Keen interest in staying updated with economic news and current events
  • Open to constructive feedback and eager to learn and grow in the role
  • Confidence in liaising with the media regarding current industry trends
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous experience writing business research articles, reports, or other key documents for a business audience is advantageous
