At Conexson, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Nundah, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily activities and tasks, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Provide manual handling support, including assistance with transfers, lifting, and positioning.
  • Operate and maintain hoisting equipment, ensuring its safe and effective use.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, promoting social engagement and community participation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in manual handling and hoisting is essential.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Compassionate and patient approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work 3-4 hours per shift, with the potential for additional hours as needed.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
