Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Scientist, Quantum Sensing to help mature our quantum sensing technology and accelerate industry adoption.

As a key member of our Quantum Sensing Division, you'll work alongside leading physicists, engineers, and designers to develop novel theoretical models and simulation tools for assessing quantum sensor performance in real-world environments.

You'll conduct research into controlling sensing devices to enhance real-world quantum sensors, analyze sensor performance, and apply optimization and machine learning techniques for improvement.

Collaboration is key: you'll work with control engineers, physicists, and hardware specialists to deploy quantum control protocols on hardware.

Share your insights through presentations, publications, technical reports, and blog posts.

Other duties may include performing other tasks aligned with your skills and experience or reasonable training.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience in theory, modeling, or optimization of atom interferometry, cold/ultracold atomic systems, quantum sensing in vapors, pulse-level optimization, or control techniques
  • A strong desire to work with a leading team and a company building the future of quantum technology
