Quantum Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technology, with a focus on optimizing sensor performance and accelerating pathways to useful quantum computers.

As part of our team, you will collaborate with diverse experts to help achieve our mission of making quantum technology accessible and beneficial.

  • Develop software applications for our Linux control platform to enhance sensor functionality online.
  • Implement navigation and map-matching algorithms, efficiently log and process operational data, and interface with our cloud services.

Work closely with research scientists to create robust and computationally efficient implementations suitable for deployment on mobile platforms in real-world environments.

Drive a culture of software development best practices, testing, and release management to ensure high-quality software delivery.

About the Role

This position is focused on developing state-of-the-art technology for defence and aerospace applications, working with experts in fields such as cold-atom interferometry, magnetometry, and inertial navigation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, implementation, and testing of software applications used in the optimization of next generation quantum sensing, navigation, and map-matching technology.
  • Integrate our quantum sensing solutions with our cloud services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers to solve novel issues in research & development and product-focused environments.
  • Work on critical quantum sensing field trials with key industry partners.
