Job Title: Transport Manager

The role of a Transport Manager involves overseeing the transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on meeting customer expectations while minimizing disruptions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage labour resources to meet daily service level targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of trucks, drivers, and shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
  • Champion safety and ensure all drivers and operational staff follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and site safety requirements.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset and ensure the daily operation is maximizing profitability by linking business goals with practical means of achievement.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Positive attitude and appetite to learn.
  • Demonstrated experience with Operations, Compliance, and Fatigue Management desirable but not essential.
  • Analytical mind-set – strong ability to problem solve.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Computer literacy skills – Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
