Property Manager Role Overview

This Property Manager position focuses on strategic management of land acquisitions, providing property advice to related teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with property purchases and disposals for planning purposes.
  • Reviewing and negotiating developer land dedications/transfers.
  • Reviewing and assessing easements associated with infrastructure projects.
  • Reviewing Road Closure & Sale applications.
  • Providing advice on Pre-Lodgement requests dealing with land acquisition items.
  • Project Management of specific property projects.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Land Economics or equivalent experience.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Demonstrated experience working in land acquisition matters.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Land Acquisitions and/or Valuation of property under the provisions of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act and application of the Local Government Act.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, implementation, and facilitation of agreements over Granting and negotiation of Easements & Road and laneway closures.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing customer enquiries related to the Property portfolio.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience.
  • Experience in operating relevant computer software applications.
