As an Applications Specialist, you'll be joining a diverse and inclusive team contributing across more than 100 unique professions and trades. The role is based in Brisbane or Newcastle.

Job Summary :

Delivering high-level technical support, driving cutting-edge product development, ensuring customer-centric solutions that consistently exceed expectations are crucial aspects of this role.

In this position, you will :
  • Act as the technical bridge between customers and engineering, translating challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Support product innovation by working with Digital R&D to advance next-gen Digital Products and reverse engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by aligning designs with legal requirements and 'Safety in Design' principles.
  • Validate digital products through trials and performance evaluations conducted in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Investigate market trends, customer pain points, and technical growth opportunities to deliver insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical acumen with Mechanical / Electrical trade qualifications is essential.
  • A customer-first approach ensures technical support and solutions align with market needs.
  • Collaboration mindset required working closely with the Engineering Team Lead and Product Manager to bring innovations to life.
  • Ability to review and refine product designs for optimal performance using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail is vital for high-quality execution of engineering activities from validation to product documentation.
  • Mining Experience (Excavators & Trucks) – Essential hands-on experience working with excavators and haul trucks in a mining environment is required.
