Job Description

This role will bring new challenges and rewards each day as you assist with AR and AP functions, working in a high-volume transactional setting.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team on a temporary basis for around 6 months - with the view to extend or go permanent for the right person.

This brilliant role is very involved and will bring new challenges and rewards each day as you assist with AR and AP functions.

Based in the Eastern Suburbs, with parking on site, we specialise in Access Solutions and Manufacturing and have been in the Perth market for over 35 years

Responsibilities:
  • Full AP function - managing invoice matching/processing
  • Full AR function - managing aged debtor report and chasing outstanding payments
  • End of month and weekly reporting
  • Providing finance support to Accountant as required
  • End of month reconciliations
  • Office support including answering queries, taking phone calls, keeping the kitchen in order and inventory ordering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of exceptional accounting experience.
  • Brilliant skills in Excel.
  • Experience using SAP would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Brilliant organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
