Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis for a temporary period.

This role is perfect for individuals who want to work within school hours and possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Reconciling high volumes of transactions, up to 200 per day, accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable duties, ensuring timely payment and receipt of funds.
  • Supporting month-end processing, maintaining accurate records and providing financial insights.
  • Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.

Requirements:

  • Key Skills:
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Xero, and a strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, fostering open communication and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, with a proactive approach to learning and improving processes.
