Job Title: Business Continuity Manager

The purpose of this role is to lead business continuity teams in assessing, developing and implementing recovery environment requirements and plans for customers. They will ensure that disaster recovery plans align with relevant legislation and organisational insurance requirements.

This involves identifying recovery requirements for new applications and systems, managing the implementation of recovery and availability techniques and technologies, and reviewing periodically for ongoing validity.

Maintaining regular status reporting, plans, and other business continuity documentation is also a key responsibility.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial IT, with a background in both mainframe and client/server technologies. They will possess thorough, expert knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases and networking.

Strong customer relationship building and management skills are essential, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
