**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Continuity Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in strengthening and maturing business resilience and response preparedness.

This position involves leveraging stakeholder management experience to influence and drive uplift of enterprise critical functions business continuity processes and practices.

The ideal candidate will bring critical thinking and innovative mindset to assist in completing business continuity impact assessments and response plans and playbooks.

About the Role:

You will work closely with various groups throughout the organization, collaborating with leadership teams and business continuity coordinators to undertake and/or coordinate completion of all activities and documents as required under the business continuity management program.

The responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking and/or coordinating completion of all activities and documents as required under the business continuity management program.
  • Developing a calendar of business continuity loss of scenario walkthroughs and exercises to test business preparedness and robustness of response in the event of incidents.
  • Supporting business responses during business disruption/loss scenarios including plan activation and secretariat duties for incident response plans.
  • Contributing to completion of business continuity sections of annual industry compliance attestations.
  • Assisting the business identify, report, and remediate business continuity risks and issues.
  • Ensuring appropriate communication and change management to ensure that stakeholders are aware and where required trained in all business continuity program, process, practice, and system changes.
  • Managing own business continuity specialist knowledge and capability both in our approach and industry best practices.
  • Managing dedicated information repositories and communication channels.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in a business continuity, risk, or compliance position supporting operations. Experience or knowledge of payments processes or systems will be looked upon favourably.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, including meeting facilitation, ability to influence and engage leadership and key stakeholders, and demonstrated attention to detail and strong writing and analytical skills.
