Assistant Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support our team in delivering programme, project, cost, asset and commercial management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain project governance and administration documentation
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to the project team and stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings and produce meeting minutes, agendas, and monthly reports
  • Support design management and procurement activities
  • Engage with stakeholders through effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Assist the Project Manager and Director with tasks such as cost reporting, performance monitoring, risk register updates, and quality assurance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A recognised degree in a technical field, such as construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or cost management
  • 1–4 years of project management experience, preferably in a client-side or consulting environment
  • Experience working with multi-site clients and CAPEX programmes and projects
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and travel regionally
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, with strong report writing abilities
  • Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
