Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Traralgon Plant in Australia. As a key member of our hardworking team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment such as a vertical Kiln and Roller Milling circuit ensuring the plant is operated safely and in line with our production schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, with experience in working with heavy machinery and industrial processes. You will work closely with our operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to optimize plant efficiency and productivity.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular safety inspections, performing routine maintenance tasks, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of the plant.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operating and maintaining equipment to produce products within specification in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.

  • Complete product bagging
  • Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Fitting or Diesel fitting or other trade background with good mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience in fixed plant production, in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift, Front-end loader or related experience.
  • Computer literate with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment.
