Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate equipment such as vertical kilns and roller milling circuits in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Install and repair fixed and mobile plant and equipment machinery to ensure sites operate safely with positive asset management and minimal downtime.
  • Loading of trucks
  • Complete product bagging
  • Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility is key for a team player who can work independently while achieving both team and personal objectives in a safe and efficient manner following safe work practices.
  • A qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Fitting or Diesel fitting or other trade background with good mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Previous experience in fixed plant production, in an industrial manufacturing environment is highly valued.
  • Forklift, Front-end loader or related experience is also beneficial.
  • Computer literacy with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
