Senior Payroll Specialist

The primary function of a Payroll Manager is to oversee the entire end-to-end payroll process.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage weekly and fortnightly group payroll functions
- Ensure legislative and award compliance through thorough payroll audits
- Internal reporting for annual leave, personal leave, and long service leave
- Manage HR3 payroll system with SAP experience beneficial
- Efficiently process long service leave, bonuses, and other payments in a timely manner
- Calculate and pay termination and redundancy payments accurately
- Liaise with management and staff regarding pay enquiries
- Reconcile STP data to ensure accuracy
- Liaise with HR staff regarding new starters, terminations, and relevant matters
- Knowledge of year-end processes is essential
- Review new starter paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Process novated leases, salary sacrifices, and associated administrative tasks
- Process Centrelink PPL, child support, and statutory deductions
- Calculate and reconcile group payroll tax
- Provide guidance and mentorship to one direct report (part-time)
- Payroll management experience
- Legislative and award knowledge
- HR3 and SAP experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
