Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new product lines, processes, and equipment to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, sales, product, and plant managers to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change initiatives.
- Create innovative concepts and system architectures in response to new product briefs and requirement documents.
- Design and develop 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
- Work closely with external suppliers and internal resources to manufacture prototypes and ensure timely delivery.
- Build and fabricate prototypes, establishing test, verification, and validation protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement effective change management procedures, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed, including risk management documents.
- Design, test, and qualify production jigs and fixtures to support routine manufacturing operations.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on developed concepts, solutions, and products, driving continuous improvement.
- Update existing products and associated documents using the company's change management system.
- Analyze quality data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing product enhancements.
- Support the manager and other team members with various project tasks, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products and solutions relevant to the industry, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
- Coordinate small and medium-sized projects, demonstrating ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical background in product development and engineering.
- Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM, as well as other relevant design and development tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
