About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Principal House Officers to join our Radiation Oncology teams across Queensland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the delivery of optimal patient care, working closely with consultants and other members of the treatment team.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of patient examination history.
  • Contribute to the simulation process, developing knowledge of treatment positions and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with the planning team to gain experience in critically evaluating treatment plans.
  • Manage Radiation Oncology inpatients in consultation with clinical supervisors and liaise with multidisciplinary team members for issues relating to day-to-day patient care.
  • Assess and treat the side effects of radiation treatment on patients.
  • Effectively communicate with relatives, nursing, allied health and radiation therapy team members.
