About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team at Icon Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer treatment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the delivery of optimal patient care, working closely with consultants and other members of the treatment team.
- Keep accurate documentation of patient examination history and participate in the simulation process to develop knowledge of treatment positions and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with the planning team to gain experience in critically evaluating treatment plans and manage Radiation Oncology inpatients in consultation with clinical supervisors.
- Assess and treat the side effects of radiation treatment on patients and effectively communicate with relatives, nursing, allied health and radiation therapy team members.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with clarity both verbally and written.
- Demonstrate effective and appropriate interpersonal skills.
