About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care and daily management of associated multidisciplinary patient care to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality radiation oncology treatment. This will involve working collaboratively with a team of Radiation Oncologists, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of radiation therapy
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular chart rounds and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in radiation oncology and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities
- Meet the requirements for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR)
