An exciting opportunity has become available at MACA Mining Pty Ltd to join the team as an Office and Events Coordinator.

This is a Permanent Part-time position based in our head office in Welshpool with onsite parking available.

As an Office and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of high-quality and seamless events.

This includes managing and coordinating the planning, organizing, and execution of key Social and Community events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing logistics, including venue selection and catering
  • Managing event registration and enquiries through email/phone/In person
  • Maintaining accurate records, including budgeting, attendance lists, and ensuring invoicing is completed
  • Building and maintaining a large network of suppliers and venues
  • The operational delivery of key events including working evenings and weekends, as required

Role Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Keeping reception area, board room and both kitchen facilities clean and tidy and maintaining stock levels of kitchens on both building levels
  • Organising refreshments and meals for board meetings and training
  • Distribution of Company PPE to employees on arrival for collections

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrate equivalent expertise in event management (preferred), marketing, business, or partnership management
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years' vibrant experience in events or marketing roles, showcasing a background in administration, project coordination, or sponsorship activities
  • Master the art of communication, adept at crafting and delivering compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences with finesse
  • Thrive in the whirlwind of change, effortlessly adapting your approach and priorities as needed, while demonstrating autonomy and impeccable time management, all while fostering meaningful interpersonal connections
