Visual Arts Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Visual Arts teacher to join our team at Karratha Senior High School. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in delivering an engaging and relevant secondary school Visual Arts curriculum to our diverse student population. With a focus on fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, you will empower students to reach their full potential and develop their artistic skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students
• Engage and build positive relationships with students and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning environment
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and implement the school's Agreed Good Teaching practices
• Participate in art events and projects, including the Arts Showcase, school productions, Art Club, and art excursions and incursions

Requirements
• Hold an eligible teaching qualification and be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
• Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencing
• Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit
