Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Contracts Coordinator to join our team in Ballina, Northern Rivers region of NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in a supportive and family-oriented culture.

  • Support the tender and estimating delivery process by analyzing quotations and preparing basic estimates and recommendations.
  • Conduct site inspections, manage budgets and programs, and ensure timely payment claims within contract terms.
  • Review project documentation, identify potential defects or delays, and submit variations for approval.
  • Participate in project start-up meetings, review subcontractor and supplier scope of works, and provide regular budget reports to line managers.
  • Assist the project delivery team in meeting financial targets and ensuring compliance with contract management scope.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert IV in Contract Administration (minimum) or a construction management degree/similar qualification (desired).
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in contract administration, reading drawings, and undertaking quantity take-offs.
  • Experience in preparing detailed contracts, managing variations, delays, and contract claims.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders.
