About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to work as a Child Protection Caseworker in our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people, as well as collaborating with other agencies and engaging in complex problem solving.

  • Develop safety plans and complete risk assessments
  • Manage cases and situations including working with high needs and high-risk clients and their families
  • Be involved in court processes, including the preparation of court documents and attending court

As a Child Protection Caseworker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working collaboratively with other agencies and community services
  • Providing case management and support services to vulnerable children and families
  • Responding to reports of child abuse and neglect
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in Social Work, Social Science or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's licence
