Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Contract Manager to join our team at Endeavour Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing operational contract management, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational relationships with vendors to control costs, ensure the quality of products/services delivered, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with various departments to align contract and commercial strategies with Endeavour Group's policies and business goals while mitigating risks associated with contracts and commercial agreements.
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and award of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards.
- Oversee the implementation of contract deliverables and coordinate with the Contract Owner and other key stakeholders to ensure contract objectives are met.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, liaising with IT Commercial / Group NT Procurement teams in support of issue/dispute resolution, amendments/variations, renewals, terminations, management of contractual claims, service level credits, liabilities, and vendor offboarding.
- Proactively monitor contract performance to ensure vendors meet their obligations, including delivery schedules, quality standards, and service levels.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance.
- Identify and support the implementation of cost-saving strategies in collaboration with vendors, to optimise costs through the contract lifecycle without compromising quality.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for vendor-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Program Leadership, IT Commercial / Group NT Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to align vendor management activities with business goals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of contract administration experience in the ITC industry.
- Degree in contracts, commercial/business law, or equivalent.
- Experience in commercial negotiation.
- Experience in ICT Contract Management.
- Experience with cost-plus and risk-reward contract arrangements with major contractors.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- High-level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and legislation regarding quality management, program management, risk management, and security of payments.
- Experience in the retail, supply chain, and/or manufacturing industries.
